Lexington

Lexington is located just west of Columbia and is the second fastest-growing town in the midlands area. Starting at the 1.75-mile dam at beautiful Lake Murray, Lexington extends along the east side of the lake, over both sides of I-20, and over to I-26. It is a 15-minute drive to downtown Columbia and the nearest shopping mall in Harbison. There is plenty of shopping in Lexington, you will find Kohl’s, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Steinmart, Books a Million, and a myriad of other shops and movie theatres. Dining opportunities are as plentiful as they are diverse. There are plenty of parks, both along Lake Murray and around the town, including Gibson Pond Park and the Lexington County Baseball Stadium, home of the Blowfish.
